This study used WATOS fiber blended yarn. WATOS fiber is a kind of new antibacterial fiber. It is made by adding nanoscale Chinese herb particles in the process of polymer spinning. WATOS fiber blended yarn is blend with 50% WATOS fiber and 50% cotton fiber. Its fineness is 18.4tex. Its twist is Z twist. Studying the structure and properties of WATOS fiber blended yarn is helpful to the knitting and finishing processes. Therefore, the mechanical properties, twist, hairiness, moisture content, acid and alkali resistance of WATOS fiber blended yarn were tested and characterized. The stitch is air layer stitch. Basic structural features of fabric were tested and characterized. WATOS fiber blended yarn is suitable for developing health knitting products after comprehensively analyzing the properties of WATOS fiber blended yarn and structural features of WATOS knitted fabric.
