报告英文简介:

In this paper, the properties, significance and inspiration of spider silk will be analyzed from the aspect of shape memory, advanced fiber development and functional textiles. Spider silk is of broad interest for its strength, extensibility and toughness and possible applications for material science and biomechanical engineering, and there are many different types of silk from many different spider species. Dragline silk is familiar for its exceptional mechanical properties and unique combination of high tensile strength and extensibility (ductility). This enables a silk fiber to absorb a lot of energy before breaking. Egg sac silk of the cocoon stalk is more stretchable than other types of silk and shows flat stress-strain curves which resolves the inherent disadvantages of common elastic fibers, that is, their needed elongation always comes with undesirable larger force. This paper will explore the feasibility of spinning of recombinant spider silk protein. Spider silk posses water-sensitive property like supercontraction feature. This paper will also analysis the phenomenon based on water-responsive shape memory property and shows some water-sensitive synthtic fibers with the same mechanism.
