报告英文简介： Breathable-waterproof membrane has been developed in the Western world and Japan for more than twenty years, during which the function demand is going multiple as well, including waterproof, comfort, and environment-friendliness. That drives the designers to put more emphasis on fabric design, top-coating, membrane manufacturing and laminating. Non-porous ester-based breathable-waterproof membrane is notable in the global research for less hydrolysis resistance, less yellowing, no-pore-blocking, and recyclability; thus, it is important to apply the functions such as antistatic, anti-UV, or flame-retardant, to the membrane.

The research is to demonstrate Taiwan Textile Research Institute’s (TTRI’s) R&D result of functional ester-based breathable-waterproof membrane. The result shows the membrane meets the needs of comfort and function: its LOI goes above 28, and it anti-UV performance goes to 99.92%. The commercialization of the technology would be the new pioneer in the functional membrane market.
