报告英文简介: This study presents comprehensive experimental data regarding the effects of adding Estabragh fibers with different fiber volume fractions of 0.25% and 0.5% and 0.75% to improve the performance characteristics of the fiber-containing cement composites of mortar. The mortar shrinkage was evaluated by counting the number of cracks and measuring the width of cracks on the surface of mortar samples. Although, the Estabragh fibers loss their strength in a alkali environment of cement composites, but, the ability of Estabragh fibers to bridge on the micro cracks in the mortar matrix cause to decrease the number of cracks and their width on the surface of the mortar samples in comparison with the plain mortar. The results shows, the width of the cracks extremely decreases with adding a small amount of Estabragh fibers (0.25%) into the cement composite of mortar. The width of the cracks even shows more decreases as the percentage of Estabragh fibers increases from 0.25% to 0.75%. Another results show that the bending resistance of mortar with 0.25% of Estabragh fibers is higher than that of plain mortar.
